Mixed Bag United are running a charity 8 a side tournament on Saturday May 28th 2011. The venue will be the all-weather pitch at Scarriff GAA Club. There will be only 8 teams, so places are limited – apply early to avoid missing out. The teams will be divided into two leagues of four teams. [...]

As winter approaches, and clocks have gone back, we anticipate another successful season under lights in Scariff. The number of players each week does tend to fluctuate, but consistently we play a fast, fun, skillful game from 8-9pm each Monday night. Join us!

This year’s Iniscealtra Community Shield was again a big success, and €675 was raised for Ennis and Clare Samaritans. In the end seven teams competed in a fast and furious competition, and a high standard of play was in evidence throughout. New champions were crowned – find out more below…

Mixed Bag United is facing something of a crisis: too few people are coming on Mondays and we are losing money. Things are now critical, so an emergency meeting is planned for tomorrow following the game in Scariff to look for solutions. The venue will be Jakko’s at approximately 9.15pm. All welcome. Phil B

Following our summer playing on the grass in Tulla, we’re now back playing on the Astroturf in Scariff. The pitch is floodlit, and is at Scariff GAA Club. This is a large pitch and can accommodate good numbers – so come along and have a great, fast hour of football.
